Sinopec broke ground for the largest oil production base in Southwest China

Sinopec broke ground for the largest oil production base in Southwest China -- Relocation & Capacity Expansion Project of its Chongqing branch in Area B, Jianqiao Industrial Park, Dadukou District, Chongqing on December 18th, 2012.

It is understood that the project is provided with a total investment of 700 million yuan, covering an area of about 350 mou. Once completed in 2014, it will be mainly used for production of high-grade mineral oil and synthetic lubricating oil. An annual output of 215000 tons is expected in Phase I with the output value up to 3 billion yuan. The productivity will be more than 300000 tons/year Phase II, with the output value up to 5 billion yuan.
