On July 28th, Wafangdian Bearing Group Corporation has signed the long-term strategical letter of intent for fan bearings with Siemens Wind Power Company and ZWZ became one of the important worldwide providers of Siemens Wind Power Company. Siemens became the strategical client of ZWZ. The two parties will develop complete cooperation worldwide on fan bearings.
Siemens Wind Power Company is one of the largest fan manufacturers in the world, which has the capability on the design, manufacturing and development of fans. At present, the fans they installed worldwide are added up to more than 8,000. Siemens Wind Power Company has two manufacturing bases in Shanghai, China so far. They are fan mainframe assembly base and blade processing base.
ZWZ is the enterprise which develops the wind power bearings earliest in China. It has the manufacturing base of wind power engine bearings at advanced world level. At present, ZWZ supplies six series of bearings products like yaw bearings, spindle bearings, speed increaser bearings, drive reducer bearings and engine bearings to the wind power equipments of 750 kw., 850 kw., 1.2 mw., 1.5 mw., 2 mw., and 3 mw.. It has formed a large manufacturing scope of 6,000 each year and it is developing the fan bearings products of 5mw.
