Shell Attended 7th Session of the 2nd Council Meeting of China Bearing Industry Association

Recently, the 7th Session of the 2nd Council Meeting of China Bearing Industry Association was held in Wangfangdian city of Liaoning province. A total of more than 150 people attended the conference, including Council Members of China Bearing Industry Association and key bearing enterprise representatives, among whom Shell industrial lubricating oil team also participated in it.

Mr. Zheng Jiangning, the application expert of Shell product reported on "An Brief Introduction of Shell Gadus Grease and Developent Trend", during which he shared the study result of Shell brand for equipment lubrication maintenance in bearing industry and hoped that Shell could help the bearing enterprises to reduced costs and jointly cope with the complex and volatile market situation through advanced lubrication technology and Gadus grease's excellent quality.

Zheng pointed that bearing enterprises drive market with technology, and the technological driving force comes from increased equipment output power and operating reliability, therefore the perfect lubrication solution can ensure the technological driving force. He said, "Shell is alway the leader of grease technological innovation. Shell is the inventor of multi-purpose lithium grease amd the leader of advanced polyurea thickener technology. We have advanced low noise bearing technology and have developed 'Lifetime free maintence'" grease series. Shell Gadus grease targets at face challenges in anyharsh operating environment, such as high-speed trains, aircraft and F1 racing. Shell Gadus grease has very good abrasion resistance that can help customer protect bearing in extreme temperatures, heavy loads and pollution conditions. In addition, it also extends the grease replacement period and doubles the grease life in some application. Moreover, it will improve running efficiency of bearing system and decrease the operating costs.
