Shaoguan Steel's Decoiling Processed Products Passed the Works Approval of Chinese Classification Society

Recently, Shaoguan Steel’s decoiling processed products passed the works approval of Chinese classification society officially, and received “Works approval certificate of Chinese classification society”, laying a solid foundation for Shaoguan Steel to better satisfy customers’ demand, and secure market share.

The thin gauge steel sheets are coiled into coils upon delivery for the convenience of storage and transportation, but for the use of steel sheets, the sheets coiled into coils must be decoiled, and be adjusted to flat status through steel sheet decoiling equipment and flattening equipment, to satisfy the use of production, and this decoiling and flattening process are called steel sheet decoiling.

Although Shaoguan Steel does not produce thin gauge steel coils now, but for the purpose of sheet specification matching and better satisfying the customers’ demand, this year Shaoguan Steel carried out coil decoiling processing business with Oupuzhiwang. To carry out the works approval of decoiled steel sheets, at the beginning of this year, Shaoguan Steel established decoiled ship plate works approval team, to efficiently and orderly promote the relevant work.

Shaoguan Steel Manufacturing Management Department and each unit cooperated closely, carefully drafted “Schedule of Works Approval of decoiled ship plate”. The “schedule” included 20 major items such as detailed regulations for quality management of hot-rolled decoiled sheet, product identification, quality inspection document and compiling of necessary process control original record, etc. Each responsible unit of Shaoguan Steel rapidly initiated the work item in the “Schedule”, actively carried out the work according to the requirements. Under the complete support of each relevant unit, various work were completed as scheduled finally, ensuring that Shaoguan Steel received works approval certificate of decoiled processing products timely.
