Shanghai Haijiang Bearing Developed SF-1 Water Lubricated Bearing Material to Fill the Domestic Gap

It is learned that such SF series of bearing material could replace lignum vitae. Shanghai Haijiang Bearing Researching Institute optimized the formulation & mixture ratio to perfect the matching between bearing & shaft, consequently, they found good substrate and several ideal self-lubricant, meanwhile made mechanical physics, friction, wear, bench simulation and other performances test at the domestic recognized testing agency, which made each performance of SF bearing material continously improved and perfected.

Among which, properties of SF-1 water lubricated bearing material has reached the level of similar foreign products. What's more, it has changed the present situation for relying on import of marine pressure and high-speed water lubricated bearings, thus to fill the domestic gap.

So far, SF series of bearing material developed by Shanghai Haijiang Bearing Researching Institute has been used for 200-ton ships from COSCO Group, China Shipping and other shipping companies. Besides, bearing materials with the shaft diameter of 612, 618 & 683 mm has been adopted by 140-ton ships, never encountered bearing occlusal phenomenon.

Through various of performance tests and ship inspections, SF series of bearing material has proven to be a reliable and environmental-friendly material, which also approved by British Lloyd's Register (LR) and China Classification Society (CCS).
