Shandong Halin Bearing Industry Co., Ltd received a national patent for "offset press bearings" from State Intellectual Property Office on July 11, 2012 with patent number of ZL201120446498.6. This is another national patent obtained by the company since it was rated as "Provincial Enterprise Technology Center" last year.
Offset press bearings are mainly used to transfer and position the printing paper through mechanical transmission, thus enabling the paper taking and feeding as well as printing functions of the offset press. Such bearings are non-standard double-row eccentric tapered roller bearings, which have a high failure rate up to 50% or more if used for more than one year. It is mainly because that the manufacturing parameters of different manufacturers vary a lot as no uniform standard has been made in the industry.
