READY SHAFTS(TM) are available in 60 Plus C1060 steel that exhibits a Rockwell hardness of 60 to 65 "C". Their maximum length is 72 inches, with shaft diameters of frac14; to 1 frac12; inches. Metric shaft diameters of 8 to 40 mm with a maximum length of 1500 mm are also available.
READY SHAFTS(TM) made with 440C Stainless Steel are offered in a maximum length of 72 inches with shaft diameters of frac14; to 1 frac12; inches and metric shaft diameters of 8 to 40 mm with a maximum length of 1500 mm. The Rockwell hardness of the 440C stainless steel READY SHAFTS(TM) is 50 to 55 "C".
