SEW -EURODRIVE's Fifth Factory Opened In China

SEW -EURODRIVE's new factory in Wuhan was reported to formally put into production recently. As SEW's fifth factory in China, the new facility will focus on the production of transmission equipment. The annual output is expected to hit 60,000 sets.

With the investment of USD 12 million in the first phase, the new factory will be SEW's manufacturing base in China when it fully comes online.

Established in 1931, Germany-based SEW-EURODRIVE is a world's leader in manufacturing gears and frequency inverters. It enjoys great reputation in the global market of drive systems. Since it entered China's market in 1997, SEW-EURODRIVE has set up its Asia-Pacific regional manufacturing base in TEDA and established manufacturing facilities and assembly centers in Suzhou, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Wuhan, and Xi'an.
