Roger Evans MBE replaces Kate Hartigan as MD of Schaeffler UK

Schaeffler (UK) Ltd has appointed a new Managing Director. As of 31st July 2013, Roger Evans MBE will take over duties and responsibilities from Kate Hartigan, who is retiring after serving more than 19 years at the company.

In addition to his new Managing Director role, Roger Evans will continue in his current position as Plant Director of Schaeffler UK’s automotive production plant in Llanelli, South Wales.

Kate Hartigan, who was appointed MD of Schaeffler UK in 1999, will begin a phased retirement on 1st August 2013. From August to December 2013, Kate will continue to support Schaeffler UK in an advisory capacity.

Roger Evans commented: “Since joining Schaeffler in 1994, Kate Hartigan has been the key driving force behind the continued success of the UK business. Kate’s commitment and outstanding achievements during her 19 years at the company have made a decisive contribution to the sustained growth and profitability of Schaeffler UK.”
