Qinchuan Machine Tool Group Corp, based in the north-central Chinese province of Shaanxi, is reportedly planning to invest US$2.82 million including US$520,000 for equipment to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the US.

Moreover, Qinchuan plans to develop this US subsidiary into an integrated branch which serves not only sales, but also assembly, research, consultancy and even building leasing functions. If necessary, it would also provide a way to deal with trade barriers.
