Purvis Industries Acquires Bearing Solutions

Purvis Industries, Dallas, TX, No. 10 on MDM's list of the top power transmission/bearing distributors, has acquired Bearing Solutions Inc., Houston, TX. Bearing Solutions provides bearing and power transmission products to the oilfield market through locations in Houston, TX; Odessa, TX; and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Bearing Solutions will be folded into Purvis Industries' newest division National Petroleum Oilfield Products serving the oil and gas industry.

"We feel this is a natural bolt-on fit for NPOP, bringing together two sets of employees with hundreds of years of combined experience supplying oilfield solutions and Tier 1 product lines for both organizations." said Bob Purvis, president of Purvis Industries.

Purvis Industries has 53 locations in eight states and Canada.
