On July 31, secretary of World Bearing Association for International Affairs Satoh Minoru, brand protection manager of SKF Yu Bangqing, chief engineer of Timken Mike Kotzalas, director of Industry & Machinery Department of NSK Uchida and other six people came to Liaocheng city for the purpose of expressing thanks to Liaocheng Public Security Bureau for their eddorts made to protect intellectual property rights, combat the counterfeit trademark crime and prevent the infringed enterprises from huge economic losses, and presenting them a plaque titled "Protect intellectual property rights, combat counterfeit trademark crimes".
It is reported that since last year, the Economic Investigation Department of Liaocheng Public Security Bureau deployed and carried out a special action in the name of "Clean Breeze" under the direct leadership of the Municipal Public Security Economic Investigation Bureau and the Provincial Economic Investigation Corps. Through the action, they detected 13 cases of counterfeit bearings of foreign brands, seized 17 criminal suspects, destroyed 37 dens selling fake goods, and seized more than 10,000 pieces of counterfeit NSK, SKF, NTN finished and semi-finished bearing products, 96120 bearing packing cases and 628 800 bearing labels.
