Pan Gang Group: 2050 Precision Rolling Mill Bearing Housings Passed Joint Inspection

Recently, among Pan Gang Xichang Vanadium & Titanium Comprehensive Project 2050 rolling mill, seven pieces of upper & lower back-up roll bearing housings passed the joint inspection after the rough processing in the heavy machine factory.

These seven bearing housings have strict standards and need to be inspected in the ultrasonic and magnetic particle flaw detecting methods. Since many other factors may influence the detection quality of ultrasonic, for example, the workpiece is quite complex and the volume is large, therefore, how to improve the detection accuracy is the key issue.

In order to complete the joint inspection task, the relevant workers carefully measured the depth & diameter of the irregular parts and drilling and recorded the results to distinguish the influence between the boundary echo reflection and defected echo reflection, calculating the related data, innovating, and using a variety of different types of probe detection from multiple directions, they obtained the scientific and accurate results which meet the requirements of the foreign experts of flaw detecting, consequently finished the joint inspection.
