NSK launched New Brochure for Farm Machinery Bearings

Extensive range of extremely durable bearings ‘made in Germany’

Bearings in farm machinery must be able to withstand particularly harsh conditions, including abrasive dust, moisture, vibrations and impact loads.

Not only does NSK have a special range of bearings for this demanding sector, but farm machinery engineering is also a particular area of expertise for the company. NSK’s Neuweg production plant in Munderkingen (Germany) was originally part of the production network of a renowned German farm machinery manufacturer.

Today, this plant produces bearings such as the Agri Disc Hub bearing units for compact disc harrows and other cultivation equipment. A new brochure presents the entire NSK product range for the manufacturers and users of farm machinery – in text and pictures with technical specifications. In addition to the Agri Disc Hubs, the brochure also features a number of other special bearings for the agricultural industry, including pulleys, Gauge Wheel bearings, flanged bearings, take-up bearings and transmission bearings.

The 32-page brochure also provides an overview of the various seal technologies that are of particular importance in this area of use. Furthermore, it presents the AIP scheme, which helps the users of farm machinery bearings to optimise the bearing positions.
