NSK drive shaft failure and troubleshooting

1. The shaft swing or traveling vehicle vibration:
Symptom: when the vehicle is in motion, clearly felt that a strong driveline periodic vibration transmitted to the car body, and acceleration and coasting significantly different when the car stops, the engine is operating in a variety of speeds vibration disappeared.
The cause of the malfunction:

2 drive shaft abnormal sound:

The cause of the malfunction:
a telescopic spline excessive wear Remedy: should be replaced;
b, the gimbal bearing wear, bite, damaged Remedy: Replace the cross shaft or NSK Bearings;
intermediate support NSK bearings wear or burn Remedy: replace the engaging member;
d, loose fasteners, Remedy: Re-tighten.
Gimbal or intermediate support bearing heating:
Symptom: car travel for a distance, intermediate support at the NSK Bearings liquefied grease to drip from the oil seal, hot parts touched by the hand.
The cause of the malfunction:
a gimbal bearing or intermediate support bearings in oil Remedy: lubrication;
intermediate support bracket is not correct, Remedy: correct bracket to the bearing perpendicular to the drive shaft;
c, oil seal tight Remedy: low speed run-in and refueling at the edge;
d, with frequent use of the parking brake Remedy: with no or little use of the parking brake.
Cross drive shaft bearings poor lubrication will lead to bearing catching, burned to death, and then go cylindrical, the order of the bore wear deformation, an impact, leading to the distortion and fracture of the flange fork. Lubrication and maintenance is essential to maintain the cross NSK Bearings, especially overloaded vehicles lubrication cycle should be shortened to about 200 km.
