On Oct. 12th, the building of the headquarter of NSK (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has been finished in Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Suzhou, and the NSK (China) Investment Co., Ltd.(NSK(China) New Technology Center for short) started operation at the same time, which is the first enterprise headquarter that operate in Huaqiao Economic Development Zone in Suzhou. More than 100 million US dollars were invested in this project, and it is predicted that the production value will reach CNY 7000 million in 2011.
The NSK (China) New Technology Center that started to operate on 12th is the largest technology center outside the mainland of Japan. The center will cover all the NSK products related to basic research, product development and technological service such as industrial mechanical bearings, auto parts and precision mechanical products, etc.
As the only provincial development zone which is modern-service-industry-oriented in Jiangsu province, Huaqiao Economic Development Zone has attracted more than 20 well-known companies such as Hong Kong Kingboard Chemical Holdings Ltd. and Fujian Zhongcheng Group, etc. to establish the headquarter of China region or eastern China region. The establishment of NSK (China) and the operation of New Technology Center will insert new drive and new energy to the Huaqiao international business city and speed up the construction of national productive service model zone.
