NISCO become Qualified for Bearing Steel Production

From March 25 to 27, the State Examination Panel of Bearing Steel Production Qualification have recently carried out an comprehensive examination against Nanjing Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd(NISCO).

Results of the spot-check examination were favourable. General quality, oxygen content and other specifications were qualified.

In August 2003, Nanjing Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd (NISCO) was founded on the basis of 40% investment from Nanjing Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd., 30% investment from Shanghai Fosun High-tech Co., Ltd., 20% investment from Shanghai Fosun Industrial & Investment Co., Ltd. and 10% investment from Shanghai Guangxing Sci-tech Development Co., Ltd. At present, NISCO United is an extra large iron & steel complex integrating mining & concentrating, iron & steel making, and steel-rolling with annual capacity of 4.5 million tons of steel, 4 million tons of iron and 4.5 million tons of rolled steel products.
