NGC Choose SKF as Assigned Supplier in 2008
Nanjing High-Speed & Accurate Gear Group Co., Ltd (hereinafter refered to as NGC) signed a contract with SKF, making them the assigned supplier for bearings needed on wind-power generator gear-box in 2008. At the same time, NGC will become the first user who buy SKF's newly designed HC-CRB series bearings in large number.
After establishing the strategic partnership with SKF in 2006, NGC have carried out further cooperations with its partner in optimising the system of supply chain, personnel training, project developing and designing as well as management of resources.
According to NGC, this contract involved unprecedented large amount of money since their cooperation with SKF. Also, it marked the beginning of more big cooperations in future. Almost half of the bearings included in the contract are for gearboxes which will be produced for exporting to customers in Europe and America; and the demand for such bearings will multiply rapidly in the following three years.
