Next desert adventure for Schaeffler and Armin Schwarz

Next weekend will see round four of the 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship being held in Imperial Valley, California. In addition to speed, the durability of his 750-hp Trophy Truck will be more crucial than ever for Schaeffler brand ambassador Armin Schwarz and his team in the Desert Challenge. Eight jumps per lap have to be mastered on the circuit, which make maximum demands on ‘man and machine.

To put the competition under even greater pressure than before the team will be relying on a completely new engine in the race. The aim is clear: together with his partner Schaeffler the 51-year-old is determined to battle for victory. For the company, the North and Central American market is of major importance – a fact that is, not least, underscored by 16 locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
