New SKF Reliability Maintenance Institute launched in Dubai

SKF will inaugurate its first Reliability Maintenance Institute (RMI) in the Middle East. Centrally located, the Dubai, UAE facility will support the Gulf countries' developing industry base by providing training programs designed to help optimize customers' asset efficiency management.
Consistent with the global marketplace, the Gulf Countries' industries are under tremendous pressure to provide the highest possible quality at the lowest cost.
Training and retention of knowledge is particularly important for companies in the Gulf countries. "The training needs of incoming expatriate workers and a growing proportion of local workers is a tremendous challenge to local companies," explains Vartan Vartanian, SKF Area Director Central & East Europe, Middle East. "We will continue with our commitment to bring world class technology to support the companies operating in this region."
The SKF Reliability Maintenance Institute offers a wide selection of programs designed to help plants achieve maximum productivity ranging from topics such as "Bearing Maintenance and Service" to "Fundamentals of Machine Condition Monitoring" and "Plant Maintenance Engineering".
