New Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association is formed

In Jiangsu Province, China, more than 50 bearing and related product companies have assembled to form the Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association.

Members simultaneously formed the Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association Council as its administrative arm.

Elected President of the new Association was Su Zhemin, an executive with the Jiangsu Machinery Industry Association.

Jiangsu Province, in east-central China with Shanghai to the south, is the heartland of the country's bearing industry. eBearing tracks at least 167 bearing manufacturers in the region, but most likely there are more than 400 -- employing tens of thousands of people directly and many times that if supporting businesses such as steel manufacturers are considered.
