National Key Project "Key Basic Parts & General Components" have Passed the Acceptance

Recently, the Ministry of Science & Technology of the People's Republic of China has organized experts to held the "Eleventh Five-Year" National Science & Technology Support Program "Key Basic Parts & General Components" Key Project Acceptance Meeting.

The project focused on the needs of national great equipment & key projects, and made the typical basic parts & general components as its breakthrough, thus to carry out many key technology researchings, such as, bearing, hydraulic & seals, gear, machine tool functional components, etc. Consequently, to gain breakthroughs in aspect of typical basic parts design methods & testing software, rapid batch testing & reliable testing equipment, material handling & manufacturing process, standards & specifications, and other aspects of generic technology. In addition, the 3rd automotive wheel hub bearing, wind power gear-box, axial plunger pump and other newly developed products have reached the technical level with other similar foreign products, meanwhile have broken the foreign monopoly.

The research results of this project have achieved the supplying application at different levels, built the basic parts testing base and totally formed 41 pilot lines & production lines. At the same time, totally applied for 181 domestic patents, 5 foreign patents, among there were 85 domestic authorized patents including 24 invention patents. Besides, the project has also completed 18 national standards, 5 industry standards, 17 enterprise standards, and published 163 scientific papers & 4 works. The implementation of this project could enhance the independent innovation capacity for enterprises in basic parts area.
