Mr. Udo Bauer to Take Over as Managing Director and President Industrial of Schaeffler Greater China

Dr. Gou Jianhui, Managing Director and President Industrial of Schaeffler Greater China, will leave Schaeffler on May 1, 2013 to pursue a new career opportunity. Mr. Udo Bauer, President and CEO of Schaeffler Asia Pacific, will assume the positions of Managing Director and President Industrial of Schaeffler Greater China in addition to his current role of President and CEO of Schaeffler Asia Pacific.

Mr. Udo Bauer appreciated Dr. Gou for his outstanding contribution to the company. Under the guidance of Dr. Gou, Schaeffler Greater China has developed successfully to a leading company in its domain. We greatly appreciate Dr. Gou for his relentless dedication, hard work and leadership which significantly contributed to the success of Schaeffler Greater China.

With immediate effect, Dr. Zhang Yilin, President Automotive of Schaeffler Greater China, is appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Schaeffler Greater China in addition to his current role of President Automotive Schaeffler Greater China, which is key for the future growth of Schaeffler.
