Mitsubishi Electric Automation announces emergency after hours parts shipping

Vernon Hills, Ill. – Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. announces today that it will now offer after hours emergency parts shipping for CNC parts to minimize the impact unexpected breakdowns can have on manufacturers.

“In the competitive manufacturing market, unplanned machine downtime is a productivity killer. We want to help our customers get up and running as quickly as possible, even if they experience a machine failure after normal business hours,” said Chris Tummillo, parts manager, Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. “We’re extending our parts shipping hours for emergency situations to accommodate manufacturers who run their operation 24/7. We’ll even ship on weekends and holidays.”

Tummillo said that these extended parts shipping hours will be especially helpful to CNC machine tool customers in the automotive, aerospace, agriculture, energy and medical markets. “This is going to be great news for any of our customers who run second and third shift operations,” stated Tummillo. “We want to help our customers reduce the cost of delays resulting from unscheduled downtime.”
