Minebea Resolved to Delist Its Shares From the Singapore Exchange


Minebea announce that the Board of Directors has resolved at a meeting on 2 October, 2006 for an application to be made to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the "SGX-ST") for the delisting of shares of the Company from SGX-ST.

1.Stock exchanges on which shares of the Company will continue to be listed

Tokyo Stock Exchange
Osaka Stock Exchange
Nagoya Stock Exchange


2.Reason for the delisting

Trading volume of shares of the Company on the SGX-ST has been very low for the past few years.

Therefore, the Company believes that it no longer requires to maintain a listed status on the SGX-ST. The delisting will have minor influence on shareholders and investors of the Company.


3.Schedule


The Company will submit application for the delisting of its shares from the SGX-ST in October 2006.
