Mill bearing lubrication methods

Rolling mill bearings, is used in metallurgy, mining and other mill roll neck rack, roller bearings used on.Usually cylindrical roller bearing radial load, deep groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, thrust or radial design or design tapered roller bearings can withstand axial loads. Now mostly used lubricating oil or lubricating oil mist lubrication manner cooled bearings.

Pressure lubrication is the conventional speed roller bearing most effective lubrication. The oil injection lubrication is a certain pressure through the nozzle mounted on the bearing side sprayed into the interior of the bearing lubrication, generally used in high-speed roller bearing, or pressure lubrication can not meet the cooling requirements of the occasion. 

Lubrication is spray drying of compressed air containing oil mist sprayed into the bearing for lubrication, using less oil, the role of the air, the cooling effect is very strong, mainly for the rolling speed is high and a large-scale high precision rolling roller bearing, or for the bearing housing is not frequent removal roller bearings. 

Pressure lubrication and injection lubrication requires installation of inlet and outlet tubing, lubrication pump, oil reservoir, oil cooler and sometimes need, therefore, higher cost, generally less use of roller bearings.
