MARPOSS Announce Expansion Plan
Oct. 28, MARPOSS announced their new expansion plan in China, including building factories, training local personnels, open more markets in northeast and middle China etc.
As a world leading manufacturer of metrology equipments, Marposs have operated in China for 20 years. Based in Italy, Marposs is devoted to provide a global answer to the customers needs, supplying the metrology equipments in association with non-destructive testing and a wide variety of sensors for machine tool control.
The ever-expanding automobile industry in China provide Marposs with substantial room for developing. So far, Marposs have established good relationships with many well known Chinese enterprises, like Shanghai-Volkswagen, Shanghai-GM, Nissan China, Beijing-Hyundai, Changan Group, Dongfeng Motor, Chery etc.
Marposs entered China in late 1970s and had their presence in China till 1986. At present, they have 8 representative offices in East, South and North China. In their expansion plan, three new offices will be setup in northeast and middle China so as to open up more markets; without removing the existing Shanghai plant, two new plants are expected to be built in Wuxi and Nanjing; also three subsidiaries are going to be formed in Shenyang, Chongqing and Wuhuan respectively.
By implementing the plan, Marposs are able to diversify their business pattern, open up more market and ensure that they can produce quality products with more competitive advantages, providing timely and quality sales and postsale services to customers in China and nearby countries.
Mario Dantonio, president of Marposs China, said that they are confident to double their sale in the following five years.
