Originated by Business & Industrial Trade Fairs Ltd in 1996, Machine Components Exhibition is by far the most important industry event in China. Since its debut in 1996, Machine Components Exhibition (named Machine Parts in 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2003) has progressed and prospered over the years. It is now the largest machine components event in China, in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors, professionalism and the range of exhibits. In 2003, the exhibition area reached 10,000sq.m. where more than 300 exhibitors and 81,000 visitors worldwide gained massive business opportunities.
In 2005, Machine Components is further upgraded to a top-ranking level with the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) as the organizer, and CCPIT Machinery Sub-Council and Business & Industrial Trade Fairs Ltd as the co-organizers. To cater for the ever-increasing demand for fasteners and gears in the world market, two individual specialist events, namely 2005 International Fastener Technology Exhibition for China (Fastener China 2005) and 2005 International Gear Technology Exhibition for China (Gear China 2005), are hosted under the canopy of Machine Components 2005.
