On January 20, 2016, LYC’s railway vehicle bearing at speed of 160 km/h smoothly passed through loading application test of China Railway, marking LYC took one step further to EMU axle box bearing localization and imported product replacement.
According to the requirement of the review meeting on China made bearing application test on railway vehicle at speed of 120-160km/h in August, 2014. The fist batch of LYC’s railway vehicle bearings at speed of 160 km/h were arranged the application test on 25K railway vehicles of three Chinese Railway Bureau, competing with the same class of bearings of many international famous enterprises, such as SKF and NSK etc. As of January 16, 2016, the type of bearing from LYC smoothly completed the test of “smooth run without trouble in 400,000 km” subsequently with high quality in Harbin Railway Bureau, Beijing Railway Bureau and Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company. And after the test, the bearing has good technical conditions in the disintegration check. The expert group agreed that LYC’s railway vehicle bearings at speed of 160 km/h can realize localization and imported product replacement in respect of performance and quality.
To this end, China Railway plans to held comprehensive summary meeting on application test of China made bearing on 25K railway vehicle. China Railway will then realize the China made bearing’s batch loading vehicle application on 25K railway vehicle and will start the loading application test of this type of bearing on 25T railway vehicle.
