August 1, industrial standard for wind-driven generator drafted by Luoyang LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd has passed the pre-examination by experts from bearings and wind-driven industries and been submitted to Standardization Administration of China(SAC) for further approval.
This standard is proposed to standardize bearing industry, unify the design, production, testing, check and accept of relevant products for wind-driven generators, like special camshaft bearings, slewing rings etc. Since Luoyang Bearing Group(LBG) first produced the bearings for wind-driven generator in 1996, there were no fixed industrial standard in manufacturing such bearings. Therefore, all potential producers began to design and manufacture by experiences.
In recent years, with the rapid development of wind driven generating industry, it has become an increasingly demand to publish an industrial standard to unify the production of key part of wind driven generator -- bearing. After cautiously consideration, the National Bearing Standardization Technical Committee(NBSTC) designated LYC Bearing to draft the industrial standard, coping with the "bottle neck" of development of this industry, realizing the seriation, specialization, standardization and generalization of bearings for wind driven generator.
On the pre-examination meeting, experts scrutinized LYC's proposal, putting forward several constructive suggestions. Finally, all experts reached a consensus on approving this proposal and agreed to submit it to SAC for further examination.
