On May 25, LYC's 197726N bearing passed the test of Xi'an Check & Accept Office of State Railway Ministry. And They were approved to put the 197726N into mass production from June 1.
Followed the requirement of State Railway Ministry(SRM), LYC had upgraded the new developed and speed upgrading bearings of railway van by substituting the former steel retainer of the bearings for plastic steel one. Quality of the upgraded bearings was ratified by SRM.
In March 2005, SRM again asked the domestic bearing manufacturers to upgrade the railway bearing whose type code is 197726, so that the railway van could run more faster and safer. The spesific work of the upgrading is the same as the former one, namely substituted for plastic steel retainer. After being notified, LYC plunged itself into the upgrading work immediately and upgraded 20 sets of sample bearings in less than a month. Then they sent those samples to SRM to be checked. After various tests, SRM informed LYC all their samples had passed the relevant test. What's more, the expert panel of SRM gave LYC a highly appraise for their excellent craft procedure, quality system and samples. At last, LYC was approved to put the 197726N into mass production.
