China's domestic first high-speed rail bearing demonstration line undertaken by Luoyang Bearing Science & Technology has been recently completed and put into operation, which will further enhance the localization rate of high-speed rail, and help Chinese high-speed rails enter the overseas markets.
The national research project "Key Technology & Applications of High-speed Rail Bearings" was led by Luoyang Bearing Science & Technology and undertaken jointly by other 13 companies and universities, from which the first set of high-speed rail bearing samples were produced and tested to have equalled or taken the lead in the international similar products by every index. 608ZZ
The total investment of the project is 161 million yuan, and the estimated annual output is 60,000 sets of bearings, including 30,000 sets of high-speed rail bearings, 20,000 sets of urban rail transit vehicle bearings, and 10,000 sets of locomotive and transmission bearings.
