LM76 has released the self-lubricating Minuteman series of Teflon composite bearings for applications that involve linear, rotary or oscillating motion.
The self-aligning bearings can handle 10 times the load, offer a low coefficient of friction, dampen vibrations and tolerate shock. They operate in harsh abrasive contaminated environments and can be submerged or washed down with water, high pressure steam or chemicals.
Available in sizes from frac14; to 4 in. ID, they are offered in either closed or open style composites and can be integrated easily into new and existing applications. Bearing options include a self-lubricated Teflon in 304 stainless steel shells and a ceramic coated shell with a liner. Both are FDA and USDA compliant.
For corrosion and chemical resistance, custom machining to print, pre-drilling and assembly, the company offers solid and hollow Class L 304 stainless steel and ceramic coated aluminum shafts up to 12 ft. in length.
