Liuzhou City Seized Thousands of Counterfeit Bearings

Industial and Commercial Bureau-backed raid came down at 3 counterfeit bearing sales operation in Liuzhou city, Guangxi province China. The raid results in 3 arrests and seizure of 9477 sets of counterfeit auto bearings.

10:00 am May 27, staffs of Liuzhou Industrial and Commercial Bureau seized a great deal of counterfeit bearings in three sales operations located at No.132-9, No. 271-6 etc liuyong road, liuzhou city. The accompanied bearing experts confirmed that all the bearings were counterfeit.

The seized auto bearings are mainly used in gear box, clutch or wheel hub etc. If these bearings were mounted on the auto, it would cause serious accidents such as wheel's locking etc. After technical identification of these bearings, the experts told us that all these counterfeit bearings are made of common steel and the workmanship is rough. Some of the bearings have their quality certificate which is also counterfeit.

The case still under investigation.
