KML Triple Seal Black Oxide Coated Ball Bearing Insert
A simple process has been developed by KML R&D department to form a black lustrous, strongly adherent oxide coating. The oxide layer so formed renders the material highly resistant to mechanical abrasion, corrosion by mineral acids, salt solutions and atmospheric oxidation.
The operating parameters for controlling the thickness and corrosion resistance have been established to yield a product with desired specific end properties that comply with KML BEARING high quality standards.
There newly developed inserts are designed keeping in mind that Water and Mist are a bearing's nightmare. We've also designed a special Triple-Lip Seal that protects the grease and consequently, the internal components (Ball and Raceways) from contamination and early deterioration.
Every component of the ball bearing insert receives a Special Black Oxide treatment that dramatically improves resistance to corrosion and prevents Early Bearing Failure.
These inserts are available from STOCK in most popular sizes and can be fitted into our KML cast iron, thermoplastic or 440 Stainless steel housings.
This New Black Oxide Triple-Lip insert Series is a perfect complement to our existing and very popular Stainless Steel Food Grade PLATINUM Series.
