JTEKT Donate to Support Java Earthquake Relief Effort


JTEKT wishes to express its heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the earthquake that struck the central area of Java, Indonesia, in May this year and hopes that safety and normalcy can be restored to the region as quickly as possible.

To assist in the relief effort, employees of JTEKT donated a total of 2.36 million yen, and JTEKT made its own donation of 5 million yen. The combined amount was transferred to the Japanese Red Cross Society on June 30, 2006, through the Nippon Keidanren and the Kansai Economic Federation.
