John Crane underlines their commitment to expand their product and service offering, and enter new markets, by exhibiting bearings and filtration systems at Power-Gen Europe 2008.
Already recognised as the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced engineered sealing solutions for use in pumps, compressors and other rotating equipment, John Crane EAA chose to highlight other aspects of it product portfolio at the exhibition by including stands for two of its business units, John Crane Bearing Technology and John Crane Filtration and Systems Both business units have been created relatively recently through John Crane's policy of acquiring leading suppliers of products and services which complement its own core offering.
John Crane Bearing Technology is recognised as a leader in the European speciality engineered bearings sector.
On display at the exhibition were examples of its varied product portfolio which includes tilting pad bearings for high-speed rotor applications, standard thrust and journal multilobe bearings and combined bearings for restricted assembly and mounting applications.
The inclusion of these products in the wider John Crane portfolio extends the company ability to provide a wider range of advanced solutions for high-performance rotating equipment used in such applications as turbomachinery equipment.
Similarly, the appearance of Indufil, as part of John Crane Filtration and Systems business unit, at Power-Gen, focused attention on their ability to supply patented filtration systems used for rotating equipment fluid, fuel and gas conditioning applications.
Examples of these systems were on show, with the emphasis placed firmly on the advanced nature of the technology which lies behind them and the market-leading levels of quality and performance which they provide.
