Jiangxi's first alpine wind power project now under construction

Jiangxi's first alpine wind power project, Pingshan wind farm, was recently put into construction with the total investment of 425 million yuan.

It is understood that the wind farm is located in Ping Shan Pasture (1312 meters above sea level), and has been listed as the first project site of Ganzhou City for construction and research of wind power in 2005. This project is carried out by New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd, a branch of CPI Jiangxi Power Company Co., Ltd, with an installment capacity of 48MW, and a construction period of one year and a half. 24 wind turbines with stand-alone capacity of 2000KW and hub height of 80m are planned to be installed, expected to supply an average grid electricity of 98 million kwh, and realized the annual main business income of 60 million yuan.
