Inspection of JTEKT CORPORATION

JTEKT CORPORATION was inspected by the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office (the "TDPPO") on April 20, 2012, on suspicion of violation of the Japan Antimonopoly Act with regard to sales of bearings.

JTEKT CORPORATION will fully cooperate with the investigation of the TDPPO.
