Infringing Deep Groove Ball Bearings Seized by Beijing Customs

On April 5, a foreign trade company in Shenzhen City declared 21 sets of deep groove ball bearings for no brand in general trade pattern to Beijing Capital International Airport Customs, subordinate of Beijing Customs. Through routine inspection, customs officers found that a total of 18 sets of goods were labelled with the brand of "NTN", the record brand in IP database of General Administration of Customs of PRC. Verified by IPR owner, these bearings were identified as counterfeit goods, with the actual price over 300,000 yuan. Beijing Customs took quick action for these seized suspected infringing goods, and withheld the goods in accordance with relevant provisions. The case has been transferred to relevant department for further handling.
