Select the lubrication of rolling bearings in two ways: oil lubrication and grease lubrication. Lubrication for these two methods have advantages and disadvantages.
Grease lubrication
Rolling bearings are generally lubricated with grease. Its advantages are:
Very simple design
Grease can play a big role in sealing
Low maintenance costs and long life
Under normal operating and environmental conditions, oil is possible to achieve "lubricated for life." If the high-load conditions (speed, temperature, load), it must be replaced periodically grease. To replace the grease, you must set the supply pipe and remove grease and collecting the used grease collector. For short periods replace grease the occasion, should set the necessary grease injection pumps and valves.
Oil lubrication
When the bearing near mechanical parts has spent lubricating oil lubrication or cooling needs to rely on, the bearings should be lubricated with oil. Bearing in heavy load or in high speed, or when there is an incoming external heat, there may be thermal requirements.
MQL using methods such as drip lubrication, oil mist lubrication or oil lubrication can ensure churning losses and bearing friction are very small.
When using air as the carrier, you can make direct oil flow to help seal.
