Hongyuan Bearing Technology established A Turntable Bearing Engineering Research Center

Recently, Luoyang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau delivered the plaque to Luoyang Hongyuan Bearing Technology Co., Ltd for its newly accepted Precision Turntable Engineering Research Center, which marked the formal establishment of the Research Center after two years of preparation and construction.

Turntable bearing is a precision bearing of special structure designed wtih supporting, rotation, transmission, fixed and other functions, able to withstand simultaneously the load axial load, radial load and overturning moment. With respect to slewing bearing, turntable bearing has higher level of precision, rigidity and stability, and is considered as one of the key equipment in the high-end machine tools, robots, medical equipment, aerospace and other industries.

With the launch of the national special project "High-end CNC Machine Tools and Basic Manufacturing Equipment", the industry of machinery and equipment has entered into the phase of rapid development, which meanwhile accelerates the development of "high-speed, precision, complex, intelligent" machine tools, thus bringing new opportunities and challenges to its supplementary business - precision turntable bearings.

The Engineering Research Center will carry out studies on key common technologies of precision turntable bearings, relating to design, manufacture, testing, fitting and other aspects, in an effort to have the theory research guide the actual production.
