HL Executives Study Advanced Enterprises in Bearing Industry

On 10 March 2015, President He Kehong, Party Secretary Zhang Yuesheng and general manager Chen Kaixiang of Hailin Zhongke Science And Techonology Co.,Ltd. (HL for short) visited Xiangyang Automobile Bearing Co.,Ltd and The New Torch Technology Co.,Ltd. This visit aims to enhance communications and learning between enterprises, and explored a new path for HL’s positive development. ZXY(Xiangyang Automobile Bearing Co.,Ltd for short) Party Secretary, president and general manager Gao Shaobing, Deputy Secretary, Discipline Commitee Secretary Jia Mengfei and general manager assistant, executive of International Trade Department Tang Yong received them together, and later engaged in friendly conversation. Both HL and ZXY belong to “three-line enterprises” established in 1960s with the assistance of LYC (Luoyang Bearign Co.,Ltd), and have built deep friendship with each other for many years. ZXY Company took shareholding reform earlier than HL Company. With the steady steps of every reform, ZXY develops rapidly, and we all see its achievements during these years. ZXY finished shareholding reform by the year of 2013, and listed on the Shenzhen Exchange in 1996. Since joining in Tri-ring Group, ZXY Company has further increased technological upgrading projects input, speeded up old equipments modification, on the basis of that, industrial park construction achieved significantly phased objectives, products manufacturing technology made new improvement.

With Tri-ring Group’s strong support, ZXY respectively set up ZXY Hong Kong Investment Co., Ltd, ZXY Luxemburg Investment Co., Ltd, ZXY Frankfurt Corporation, ZXY Warsaw Corporation, and ZXY Shanghai Corporation. ZXY also successfully acquired KFLT Company in 2013, the largest bearing enterprise in Poland. After the acquisition, the production and management of KFLT goes well, and its sales volume achieved double-digit growth in 2014, furthermore, the two sides have formed good exchange mechanism, complementary advantages in technology R&D, further improvement in International Sales network and optimization in user structure. In 2014, ZXY established Subsidiary Corporation in United States, which not only makes ZXY owning overseas factory, but also lays the foundation for Europe and America upscale market and thus lists on transnational corporation. After the discussion, Mr. Jia and Mr. Tang led HL’s executives to visit some workshops in old plant. The next day, they also visited Transmission Shaft Branch, Car Bearing Branch, grinding production lines, assembly lines and staff canteen in new industrial park. Advanced processing equipments, logical production deployment, tidy facility, check desk and checking tools, orderly circulation boxes, clean floor and neat working areas, all are arranged in an orderly fashion, being like a honor guard receiving the review. Besides that, staff’s full working enthusiasm and well-regulated working atmosphere, all above left a deep imprint for the visitors.

Leaving ZXY, HL’s executives also visited The New Torch Technology Co., Ltd. New Torque belongs to a shareholding high-tech corporation, and mainly produces auto-wheel hub bearing units used on the first, second and third generation sedans including Fort, FIAT, Dongfeng NISSAN, SGMW, Baw, GEELY and BRILLANCE Auto, more than 20 famous sedan enterprises both in China and abroad, which are all supporting enterprises of New Torque. New Torque invests about 40 million yuan for technological upgrading projects annually, constantly renovates equipments and organizes technical expert team. Through 10-year-development by doing these, the company’s sales volume achieved about 800 million yuan in 2014 and the net profit reached 110 million yuan. During the discussion, New Torque President Wu Shaowei thought that now productivity of low-end products is surplus in Chinese bearing industry, however, supply of high-end products are seriously deficient, and as a bearing enterprise, we need to contribute funds on upgrading and renewing equipments, the less we invest, the lower the technology is, and finally would run into the vicious circle of low-end market competition. He also advised that HL must take the path of privatization, merger and APO so as to over come the present plight. Then they visited super-grinding automatic production line, wheel hub unit bearing assembly automation line, wheel hub unit shaft grease filling automation line and robot-operate & full-automatic assembly production line which was put into in 2014 and would be finished later.

ZXY trip increases our understanding of successfully reformed enterprises in bearing industry during these years, at the same time, we are well aware of HL’s own disparity and deficiency. We firmly believe that only by taking the effective ways of speeding up institutional innovation, widening technological transformation, adjusting product structure, and improving the inner quality of products, shall we get out of the plight.
