Hebei Steel Finished Steel Exports in July up by 71.9%

On August 19, major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel (Group) Co announced that in July this year its subsidiary Hebei Iron and Steel International Trade Co received finished steel export orders amounting to 509,000 tonne, up 96.5% year on year, while its actual finished steel export volume in July totaled 385,000 tonne, up 71.9% year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January to July period this year another Hebei Steel Group subsidiary, Tangshan Iron and Steel Co produced 85,000 tonne of welding wire steel, up 174% year on year.
