HBIS Handan Iron & Steel announced volume production of high-strength steel fasteners

The Special Steel Division, HBIS Handan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. received orders for high-strength cold forging steel ML40Cr totaling more than 1,500 tons in August from are high-end parts manufacturers in Jinan, Chongqing and other areas in China.

ML40Cr is one of the high-strength cold forging steel products, mainly used for processing Grade 10.9 fasteners for vehicles, motorcycles and engineering construction.

HBIS Handan Iron & Steel now has a volume production capacity of ML20MnTiB, ML40Cr, SCM435 and other high-strength steel fasteners. The quantity of fasteners involved in the contracts signed in August has reached more than 3000 tons, with a MoM growth of about 50%.
