According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to February 2012, the investment in fixed assets (excluding peasant household) was 2.1189 trillion yuan, increased by 21.5% year on year, with the growth rate falling back 3.4% compared with last year. The industrial investment was 868.1 billion yuan, increased by 23.4 % year on year, with the growth rate falling back 1.2% compared with last year. Wherein, the investment in mining industry was 45.6 billion yuan, increased by 22.9% year on year, with the growth rate 8.4% higher than that in the same period of previous year; the manufacturing investment was 728.4 billion yuan, increased by 24.7% year on year, with the growth rate falling back 5.2% compared with last year; the investment in electricity, gas and water production and supply was 94.1 billion yuan, increased by 14.8% year on year, with the growth rate 14.9% higher than that in the same period of last year.
