GGB, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, has appointed S&N LLC, in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
"Affiliation with S&N provides us with an established point of entry into these important markets," said Dr. Stefan Klages, vice president and general manager for GGB Europe. "They represent leading global brands and have long-standing relationships in many of the OEM segments we are targeting."
In business for more than 90 years, S&N had 2007 sales of Euro 25 million across a broad range of industrial and automotive components, including bearings, belts, chains, cardan manufacturing, greases, chemicals, fastening systems, handles, hinges, latches, windshield wipers, tubing, fittings and valves, among others. The company employs 90 in Finland and Russia.
