Spain-based Gamesa has secured two wind turbine supply contracts, totaling 112MW, in China.
Under the first contract, awarded by China's General Nuclear Power Group subsidiary CGN Wind Energy, Gamesa will supply of 32 G97 2MW turbines that will be installed at the 64MW Yangchajie wind complex in Yunnan province.
The turbines are scheduled to be delivered by Gamesa in January 2015 and the wind farm is anticipated to be commissioned in March next year.
Gamesa will also supply 24 G97-2MW turbines that will be installed at Zhaojiasan wind farm in the province of Shanxi, western Peking, as part of the contract awarded by Everbright.
Deliveries are scheduled in March 2015 and the wind farm is planned to be commissioned by May 2015.
Zhaojiashan facility is the second wind project to be developed by Everbright.
Gamesa was also contracted to deliver turbines for the company's first wind farm, which is also located in Shanxi.
Gamesa CEO in China José Antonio Miranda said: "Signature of these agreements is tantamount to an endorsement from our Chinese customers which have once again chosen us as benchmark supplier for their projects."
Till date, Gamesa has installed more than 3,500MW of turbines in China and presently services about 1,000MW.
