Forum Discusses Potentials in China Machinery Manufacturing Sector

Prior to the CIMT 2009, the international forum on emerging technology in machinery manufacturing held on April 5 witnessed a great success,
according to its organizer the China Machine Tool Builders Association (CMTBA).

More than 220 experts, engineering technologists, managers, are attracted to attend the forum. An exhibitor, who attended five editions of CIMT's
forum, said that topics this year focused more on the machine tool industry's status quo and future trends were covered as well.

The most outstanding highlight of the forum was the advocate of adopting advanced technology, according to Zhang Xingquan, technical director of
Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH.
