Aug.2008 is a great month for China and Chinese people because it's the month for remarkable 2008 Beijing Olympics. This great month also enlightens the successful inauguration ceremony of SKF (Shanghai) Solutions Factory.
On August 6, 2008, many SKF valuable customers gathered in Jinqiao, Pudong to celebrate this great moment for SKF (Shanghai) Solutions Factory. Mr Vartan Vartanian, the President of SKF Global Service Division, Mr Bee Kek Chng, Area Director of Asia Pacific in Service Division and Mr Magnus Johansson, President of SKF (China) Investment Co Ltd addressed the speeches, extending their warm welcome and sincere thanks to all customers and distributors at presence as well as the future expectations for the new solution factory. After that, Mr. Hao Rongliang, the General Manager of Shanghai Baosteel Group Equipment Maintenance Co Ltd and Ms. Fan Xiaohong, General Manager of Shanghai Electric Sewind Co. Ltd respectively expressed their congratulations to the newly established SKF (Shanghai) Solution Factory and the good wishes for the future corporation. Finally, Mr Fred Lin, Managing Director of SKF China Ltd hosted the welcome lunch with enthusiastic speech.
The Solution Factory is the first facility in Service Division. The aim is to integrate the engineering technology competences in SKF 5 Platform for better creating value for our customers. Currently, the factory equips with the spindle service, lubrication, PSD service, maintenance products remanufacturing and training service. Subsequently it will extend to the service of remote condition monitoring and rapid sealing service very soon.
